Lots of interesting crawly and flying critters this last week
This big fella was just chilling out on the dishes. At first I thought it was a White-Tailed spider but I have since learned that's a Slate spider and quite harmless. He must have been unwell as he died pretty quickly.
The flower was placed in the image for scale not out of respect :)
I thought it was a small bird when it flew up from the lawn. Stunning little (or big) guy!
I went outside to test a lens and this guy whizzed past me and landed briefly in the tree behind me, This is a grab shot, no time to set up the camera! It turned out very well. Below is another angle I was able to get.
Some bright spark thought he was Ken Block in a 1.5 liter Subaru Impreza in the Red Zone. The sound of a high revving engine on Christmas night followed by a metallic thunk lead to this discovery on box day morning. The moron had been drifting around the closed streets of Avonside drive and its adjoining streets before mounting a curb and rolling the car.
The driver managed to drive to Retreat road in this condition before abandoning the car, removing the plates first hoping the police would not trace the owner, trouble is the dumb arse left the rego sticker with the rego number in the windscreen.
Well it's certainly been awhile, lots has been happening! Currently my website is going through a major overhaul, so I'm sorry if it seems a bit minimalist right this minute. Speaking of minimalist; My intention is to make the site more focused and simplified for navigation and loading times. The main site will be my portfolio, a place to generate print and licencing sales as well as providing information regarding my services as a freelance photographer.
I will try to keep updates and news here in the blog, and I will try to update often
This house, in the redzone is being deconstructed. Heaps o empty sections appearing in the redzone now. Demolition has really stepped up.
